The Time has Come |
Mark your calendars for April 9th
Come for the blessing of
"The Garden"
and another FUNwork day.
The furrows are in and some are being weeded (if you haven't started, it is time). Ada Cox has marked out the rows. We are about ready to start planting. Next week the fence will go in and we will finish marking out where the plants will go. Be sure to come for the blessing and to find out more about planting the next week.
Come for the blessing of
"The Garden"
and another FUN
We are excited to be a part of such a great bunch of people and such a great opportunity to learn more about gardening and know our neighbors better! Thanks for all the planning and dedication put into making this happen!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to be part of this great project. I have been doing my best collecting all my milk jugs and plastic containers. I have been exceptionally diligent growing two six packs of seedlings too. I have one of peppers and one of tomatoes. I have enjoyed caring for them daily in my kitchen. I water them and set them out for some sun each day. It is fascinating to watch them grow so quickly. So, I was out today when the wind switched to gusty and when I got home I found my poor little baby starts scattered all over my lawn! I was so sad. I tried to put them back together and water them and give them love.....I rescued them successfully from the last wind storm, but I don't know if I will be so lucky this time. I really tried my best, bummer. I guess I will show up next week with some hearty, stealthy plants from the nursery who knows how to do it just right! I look forward to learning A LOT:)
